Salient CRGTÂ has won a potential five-year, $482M task order to provide telecommunicationÂ and engineering support forÂ the Department of Defense’s warfighter network modernization efforts.
The Fairfax, Va.-based companyÂ said Tuesday it will work with industry partners toÂ design, build, deploy and sustainÂ IT assets as part of the SANDBAR project awarded under theÂ General Services Administration’s Alliant 2 contract.
Initial work willÂ involve network modernization,Â integration and maintenance activities as well as support forÂ cyber and airborne intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance technology platforms.
Tom Ferrando, CEO of Salient CRGT,Â said the company willÂ implementÂ an approach intended toÂ increaseÂ efficiency in delivering IT, engineering and cyber services to support DoDâs missions in times of conflict and peace.
The company seeks toÂ expand its professional services offerings for the department through the task order.
