Lockheed Martin (NYSE: LMT) is the prime contractor on a proposed $406 million foreign military sale of rockets, missiles and launchers to Qatar.
The Defense Security Cooperation Agency said Qatar intends to use the weapons for securing critical infrastructure in the country.
Qatar asked for seven launchers containing a fire control system, 60 tactical missiles, 360 multiple launch unitary rockets and 180 practice rockets.
The sale also includes an artillery tactical data system and wheeled vehicles.
If the sale goes through, two contractor representatives will travel to Qatar for at least one year to support delivery and help familiarize personnel with the equipment.
