CSC Names Dana, Rolls-Royce Vet Doug Tracy CIO; Mike Lawrie Comments

Computer Sciences Corp. (NYSE: CSC) has appointed Doug Tracy chief information officer and given him responsibility for managing and transforming the company’s worldwide information technology operations.

The company said Tracy, formerly vice president and CIO at Dana Holding Corp., will also be responsible for aligning CSC’s IT and business strategies and for driving innovation.

“A critical part of our company’s transformation initiative is upgrading the technology infrastructure and tools that power our business, ” President and CEO Mike Lawrie said. “Doug’s expertise leading global IT operations will contribute greatly to our upcoming rollouts of new enterprise systems and processes.”

At Dana, Tracy integrated the firm’s global IT organization and addressed the business focus of the company’s applications and infrastructure assets.

Before joining Dana, he served as executive VP of IT at a Rolls-Royce subsidiary in North America and global chief technology officer, where he oversaw IT strategy and architecture.
