CSC Names Paul Saleh New CFO; Mike Lawrie Comments

Computer Sciences Corp. (NYSE: CSC) has appointed Paul Saleh to succeed Michael Mancuso as chief financial officer and vice president, effective May 23.

The Falls Church, Va.-based information technology contractor said he will be responsible for global financial operations and report to CEO Mike Lawrie.

Mancuso will retire from the company upon the filing of the company’s annual report for the fiscal year ended March 30, 2012.

He announced his planned retirement from the company in February.

Lawrie said in the release that Saleh will use his experience with corporate controls and his accounting discipline to execute turnaround strategy and drive financial performance.

Saleh served as CFO at Gannett prior to joining CSC and founded Menza Partners, an operational and financial advisory group focusing on media, telecommunications and technology industries.

Prior to Menza, he served as CFO for Sprint Nextel and held the same position at Nextel Communications from 2001 to 2005, when Sprint and Nextel merged.

He joined Walt Disney in 1997, where he served as as senior vice president and CFO and held other senior financial leadership positions.

Before joining Walt Disney, he served as vice president and treasurer at Honeywell Inc. for three years and held other financial leadership positions during his 12-year career there.

Last month, CSC appointed Jon Love vice president of strategic business development for its North American public sector defense group.
