SAIC Wins $163M DLA Supplies IDIQ

SAIC Inc. (NYSE: SAI) has won a potential $163, 607, 840 U.S. Defense Logistics Agency contract modification for operations and maintenance services, the Defense Department announced Wednesday.

DLA exercised the seventh option of a previously-awarded indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract, for which the agency received six responses through an online solicitation.

The company will provide the agency supplies and related services for use by the Army, Navy, Marine Corps, Air Force and federal civilian agencies.

Work will occur through July 28, 2013 and DLA is funding the modification through the defense working capital funds for fiscal years 2012 and 2013.

In May, DLA announced SAIC won an estimated $107 million award for continued operations, maintenance and supplies repair services under a separate contract.

Work under that modification is scheduled to occur through May 2013.
