SAIC Wins $107M For DLA Supplies Repair

SAIC Inc. (NYSE: SAI) has won a $107, 466, 961 contract modification to provide the Defense Logistics Agency with operations, maintenance and supplies repair services.

According to the Defense Department, DLA exercised the seventh option year on a previously awarded firm-fixed-price, indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract.

DLA received six offers through an online solicitation.

Repair work and operations for supplies will support the U.S. Army, Navy, Air Force, Marine Corps and other federal civilian agencies.

The Pentagon expects work to finish by May 30, 2013 and the DLA’s troop support office in Philadelphia is the contracting activity.

SAIC also holds a potential $33 million contract with the Defense Intelligence Agency to provide language translation and management services.
