Triple Canopy Names Patrick Garvey Govt Relations Lead; Ray Randall Comments

Triple Canopy has appointed former senior Senate staffer Patrick Garvey vice president of government relations, the company announced Tuesday.

The U.S. Navy captain will direct the company’s government relations initiatives and support business development activities at the company.

Garvey has more than 22 years of experience in national security policy from both the Navy and Capitol Hill, said Ray Randall, senior vice president of strategic initiatives at Triple Canopy.

Since 2003, he has served as a professional staff member for the Senate Foreign Relations Committee and advised Committee Chairman Richard Lugar on Middle East policy and programs.

He also spent time as a legislative assistant to Lugar and Senator Alfonso D’Amato.

Garvey has served in the Navy reserves since 1997, holding duty assignments at the Pentagon, U.S. Central Command and NATO, including a mobilization for the 2001 Afghanistan and 2003 Iraq wars.
