SRA To Help FBI Operate Crisis Info System; Jim McClave Comments

SRA International Inc. will help the U.S. Federal Bureau of Investigation develop products and operate the bureau’s crisis information management system, the company announced Tuesday.

The sole-award contract is potentially worth $19 million over one base year and seven option years.

SRA has supported the bureau for 13 years, said Jim McClave, vice president of law enforcement and justice programs.

The company will also provide program management for the FBI’s operational response and investigative online network.

During crisis or special events, the bureau uses ORION to coordinate responses and deliver data processing and case management to federal, state, local and tribal law enforcement agencies.

Agencies use that information during large events or incidents, the company said.

Late last month, SRA was also included under a $150 million General Service Administration blanket agreement for information technology services.
