Lockheed Awarded $255M to Support Pentagon HR System

Lockheed Martin Corp. (NYSE: LMT) was awarded a $254.7 million contract to support the Defense Department‘s civilian personnel data system.

The Bethesda, Md.-based firm said Monday it will provide maintenance and operational support services for the human resources system which holds records for more than 800, 000 Pentagon employees.

The sole source indefinite-delivery-indefinite-quantity contract has a 18-month base period and five one-year options.

Lockheed said it also includes six potential task orders that if executed would bring the total contract value to $420 million.
