USIS Appoints Michael Aytes to Lead Homeland Security Programs

U.S. Investigations Services,  an Altegrity company, announced Thursday it appointed Michael Aytes director of USIS’ homeland security programs.

Aytes will be responsible for program management, performance and growing new business. He will report to Jonathon Goldman, vice president of records management programs.

Aytes previously spent 34 years working in immigration for the federal government, most recently as senior adviser to the director of U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services.

From 2008 to 2009, Aytes served as acting deputy director of USCIS. Aytes has also served as associate director of the agency’s domestic operations.

From 1977 to 2003, Aytes served in leadership positions for the Immigration and Naturalization Service.

“His extensive background and expertise in the immigration and homeland security arena will be a tremendous asset to USIS and our customers, ” said Goldman.
