GTRI Wins Prime Spot on $5.6B Government-Wide IT Contract

Global Technology Resource Inc. has won a prime position on a potential $5.6 billion government-wide information technology contract, GTRI announced Wednesday.

NASA said its Solutions for Enterprise-Wide Procurement vehicle provides IT products to all federal agencies, including UNIX-, Linux- and Windows-based computer systems with peripherals.

GTRI said the contract is for seven years and allows federal agencies to search the Web for products offered directly from hardware and software manufacturers.

“We are pleased to add this contract to our portfolio of federal services, and we look forward to supporting our federal clients and the government community over the life on the contract, ” said Barb Beckner, GTRI’s director of capture management.
