TASC Wins Potential $134M NASA Software Services, R&D Contract

NASA has awarded TASC Inc. a cost-plus-award-fee contract potentially worth $133.9 million to provide software services to the agency’s independent verification and validation facility in Fairmont, W.Va.

The contract has a total period of performance of five years, including options.

A NASA announcement of the award said TASC’s support will include research and development, independent verification, software assurance and technical quality monitoring.

TASC will support system software developed by or for NASA missions. The software will also support other government bodies and commercial customers who partner with the space agency.
