CH2M Hill Completes $200M Purchase of Global Consulting, Design, Construction Firm

CH2M Hill has completed its acquisition of U.K. global consulting, design, construction and operations firm Halcrow for just under $200 million.

The company first announced its intent to purchase Halcrow in September.

Upon completion of the acquisition process, both companies’ management teams will work to bring the businesses together. CH2M HILL Chairman and CEO Lee McIntire indicated the two firms are well suited to work together and deliver collective and combined solutions.

“As the world’s population climbs above seven billion the challenges posed to transportation, the environment, water use and urban architecture will require ever more innovative and complex solutions that we will be uniquely able to provide, ” said McIntire.
