BAE to Maintain MRAP Vehicles in Afghanistan on IDIQ Order

BAE Systems‘ land and armaments business‘ ground systems division will provide maintenance support for mine-resistant ambush-protected vehicles in Bagram, Afghanistan, the Pentagon announced yesterday.

The announcement said the $12, 208, 068 award is a modification to a previously awarded indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract.

Work is expected to be completed by December 2012 and all modification funds will expire at the end of the current fiscal year. The Marine Corps Systems Command, Quantico, Va., is the contracting activity.
