SAIC to Provide IT Integration Support to Marine Corps Force Management System

SAIC (NYSE: SAI) has won a four-year $30 million prime contract with the U.S. Marine Corps to integrate elements of its total force structure management system.

TFSMS is an enterprise IT solution that provides core capabilities necessary for organizing the Marine Corps into capability-based forces and serves as a foundation for future force management capabilities.

The company will provide post-deployment software support, requirements development and the implementation of training and system performance enhancements.

“We look forward to working with the MCSC’s PG10 to provide an authoritative system for force structure information that supports the mission by organizing forces in response to national defense objectives, ” said Tom Baybrook, SAIC senior vice president and business unit general manager.
