LexisNexis Risk Solutions named the FBI’s Violent Criminal Apprehension Program (ViCAP) winner of the firm’s “One Step Closer” Award in Law Enforcement.
According to the firm, “the “One Step Closer” Award in Law Enforcement is awarded to the agency, unit or individual that demonstrates excellence in using open source intelligence and third-party resources to get “one step closer” to solving crimes.
ViCAP functions as a web-based application allowing investigators and analysts to peruse other ongoing investigations, for help with best practice ideas.
