Contract Award – SAIC – $160 Million – Navy

The Naval Sea Systems Command has awarded a task order to SAIC to provide support to the Program Executive Office for Integrated Warfare Systems (PEO IWS). The task order has a base year with several options that, if used, could amount to $160 million.

SAIC will provide engineering support services to the PEO IWS, who is responsible for managing fighting systems and technologies on naval surface and submarine craft. SAIC will provide solutions in systems engineering, product development and ship integration. They will also play a central role in the construction, development maintenance of surface vessels. Tom Baybrook, senior VP and business unit general manager said “SAIC is proud to support the important mission of the Naval sea community. Under this new task order, we will help supply an enterprise solution encompassing a full range of engineering support services across PEO IWS’ highly interrelated product lines.”
