Contract Award – American Systems – $42 Million – Army

The US Army has awarded American Systems a $42 million contract to provide support to US Army Material Command’s Predeployment and Operational Tracker (SPOT) Program. American Systems will provide life cycle systems engineering and operations support services.

American Systems will provide support for a DoD enterprise system that will track contractors working for DoD worldwide and will provide an array of life-cycle systems engineering. American Systems will provide support operations and systems integration to provide integrated information on contractors for battlefield commanders.

William Hoover, president and CEO, said “The SPOT program will advance the government’s priorities to ensure the accurate tracking, visibility, accountability, and management of contractor assets supporting U.S. Armed Forces overseas. We will utilize our enterprise system development and management expertise and global support capability to manage a large team of exceptionally qualified partners to address matters of national importance—all in one focused effort.”
