AMERICAN SYSTEMS has appointed Edward Lussier as acting vice president and executive director of the company’s professional services federal market.
He will be responsible for leveraging the company’s professional services offerings and strategy to expand the company’s presence in the federal and civilian intelligence markets.

Lussier has 30 years of experience implementing and developing solutions for federal customers. He was recently the vice president and division manager for CGI/Stanley Associates, where he was drove strategic direction.
He has also held positions with DynCorp International, Mantech International (NASDAQ: MANT) and the M&T Company.
