Army Issues RFP for $206M Ground Intelligence System Modernization Contract


NavyC5ISRThe U.S. Army has started to accept bids on a potential $206 million contract for the Distributed Common Ground System-Army‘s second increment.

The Army said Wednesday the full and open competition is part of its efforts to modernize the DCGS-A platform that works to help soldiers analyze, visualize and exchange ISR data when they conduct missions in the battlefield.

Interested vendors can submit proposals to the military branch for DCGS-A Increment 2 development, testing and implementation until Feb. 8.

The Army noted it could name the winner of the contract in the fourth quarter of fiscal 2016.
