Bob Carrigan: D&B Picks Up Indicee for Cloud Analytics Strategy


CloudDun & Bradstreet (NYSE: DNB) has bought cloud business intelligence software provider Indicee for an undisclosed amount as part of D&B’s efforts to help customers manage complex data.

Employees of Vancouver-based Indicee will join D&B’s Cloud Innovation Center and work to deliver content management and analytics tools to business clients, D&B said Tuesday.

Mark Cunningham, founder and CEO of Indicee, will spearhead that cloud technology hub.

“Modernizing delivery is a core component of our strategy, and this acquisition is at the heart of it, ” said Bob Carrigan,  D&B CEO and president.

Carrigan added the companies aim to combine their technology and talent in order to help businesses gain data-based insights.

D&B’s Cloud Innovation Center will initially focus on developing a cloud version of credit risk management platform DNBi.
