Nicholas Percoco, head of Trustwave‘s security organization for more than 10 years, has joined KPMG LLP as director of the firm’s information protection group, Health IT Security reported Wednesday.
Patrick Ouellette writes Percoco will oversee security research, program development, threat defense and incident management in his new role.
Greg Bell, a group partner at KPMG, said Percoco holds nearly two decades of experience in working with clients to form cybersecurity strategies, according to the report.
Percoco most recently led Trustwave’s SpiderLabs, where he implemented programs for analyzing computer security events and training personnel on ethical hacking practices.
