John Veihmeyer: KPMG Looks to Expand Tech Consulting Operations With Zanett Buy


acquisitionKPMG LLP has bought Cincinnati-based business consulting firm Zanett Commercial Solutions in an effort to help enterprise customers manage revenue and risks through technology.

Zanett is an Oracle (NASDAQ: ORCL) platinum partner and helps organizations implement applications for healthcare, government and manufacturing use, KPMG said Monday.

KPMG seeks to deliver health information technology systems designed to manage care and electronic patient records through the acquisition.

“Across the marketplace, our clients are looking to enhance their performance with enterprise technology, gain deeper insights from their data and improve engagement with key stakeholders, ” said John Veihmeyer, KPMG chairman and chief executive.

“We are confident that clients will benefit from our combined strengths when utilizing technology as a catalyst to make impactful change across their enterprise, ” said Zanett President Vince Vickers.

Vickers added the companies also aim to help businesses operate in a highly regulated environment by using technology.
