Northrop will work to help create interoperability of dissimilar systems under the Distributed Mission Operations Network 2.0 service contract, the Defense Department said Thursday.
The firm-fixed price, single-award, indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract is for the Combat Air Force Distributed Mission Operations and Integration program.
According to the Pentagon, the Air Force received two offers through a full and open competition.
Work will occur in Orlando, Fla. through June 30, 2018 and could continue through June 30, 2023 if the Air Force exercises all options.
