Wayne Lucernoni Appointed Harris IT Services Lead

Wayne Lucernoni, formerly acting president of Harris Corp.’s information technology services business unit, has been appointed to the position on a permanent basis, a company spokesman confirmed to GovCon Wire Tuesday.

The 22-year company veteran will report to James Morris, president of the integrated network solutions business segment.

In his new role, Lucernoni will be responsible for a portfolio that covers segments within the federal market and commercial healthcare information technology markets.

Prior to his current position, Lucernoni served as VP and general manager for intelligence, civil and healthcare IT programs and as VP for both civil and intelligence program areas before that.

He has also served director and deputy program manager for the Patriot contract with the National Reconnaissance Office.
