The U.S. Interior Department is accepting proposals to provide cloud-based email and collaboration services, according to a FedBizOpps post Tuesday.
The department said it is looking to award a fixed-price contract with one base year and six one-year options.
The department released a request for information in January and said it currently has seven different email platforms for 92, 000 users.
The department said the service should include:
- Archiving
- Calendaring
- Desktop video conferencing
- Instant messaging
- Secure mobile device support
The system must also meet standards set by the Federal Information Security Management Act.
The department is accepting proposals through Feb. 29, expects to award a contract by April 30 and wants the new system running by December.
