General Dynamics Unit Gets $732M Navy IDIQ to Sustain MUOS Satcom Ground System

General Dynamics' (NYSE: GD) mission systems business has secured a potential 10-year, $731.9M contract from the U.S. Navy to sustain ground infrastructure of a narrowband military satellite communications system. General Dynamics Mission Systems will provide sustainment support for the Mobile User Objective System, the Department of Defense said Friday.

Leidos Awarded $73M Navy IDIQ to Develop Acoustic Surveillance Tech

Leidos (NYSE: LDOS) has been awarded a three-year, $72.8M contract to help the U.S. Navy build a wide area surveillance technology to support antisubmarine warfare missions. The company will develop the Transformational Reliable Acoustic Path System for the Navy's Maritime Surveillance Systems Program Office, the Department of Defense said Friday.
