Boeing Receives $115M Navy Order for MQ-25A Stingray Initial Spares

Boeing (NYSE: BA) has secured a potential three-year, $115.1 million order against a previously awarded basic ordering agreement to provide the U.S. Navy with initial spares and repair equipment for the service’s MQ-25A Stingray aerial refueling drone to help improve the unmanned aircraft system’s readiness and reliability.

Work on the firm-fixed-price order will occur in St. Louis and Indianapolis through July 2026, the Department of Defense said in a contract award notice published July 31.

Naval Air Systems Command in Patuxent River, Maryland, is the contracting activity and is obligating the full contract amount using the service’s aircraft procurement funds for fiscal year 2023.

The sole-source order also covers non-recurring engineering, procurement of hardware, software maturation and infrastructure support, software upgrades and interoperability, cybersecurity and information assurance services, according to a class justification and approval document issued by NAVAIR.
