Dell Awarded $97M to Renew Microsoft Licenses for Defense Health Agency, Three Military Branches

Dell Federal Systems has won a firm fixed order and a six-month extension worth $96.7M combined to renew Microsoft (Nasdaq: MSFT) software licenses for the Defense Health Agency, the U.S. Air Force, Navy and Army. Seventy-two customers will receive licensing renewal services for software products such as VISIO Professional and Windows Server Standard, the Department of Defense said Wednesday.

Inmarsat to Provide DISA Satcom Services Under Potential $246M BPA

Inmarsat's government business has won a potential five-year, $246M blanket purchase agreement to provide the Defense Information Systems Agency with satellite communication services. President Donald Trump has selected Mark Esper, secretary of the U.S. Army and a 2019 Wash100 winner, to take over leadership of the Department of Defense on an acting basis. Trump announced Esper’s appointment in a tweet posted Tuesday after Acting Defense Secretary Patrick Shanahan resigned and withdrew from consideration for the top DoD job to focus on his family.

Boeing Receives $194M SOCOM Rotary-Wing Aircraft Delivery Order

Boeing (NYSE: BA) has received a $194.2M delivery order modification to provide MH-47G multirole heavy-lift helicopters to the U.S. Special Operations Command.
