Battelle Awarded $415M DLA Contract for Mask Decontamination Systems

The Defense Logistics Agency has ordered 60 mask decontamination units from Battelle through the award of  a potential $415M contract on behalf of the Department of Health and Human Services. Lt. Col. Mike Andrews, a Pentagon spokesman, said in a statement released Monday the nonprofit company will provide systems designed to sanitize up to 80K N95 mask respirators each on a daily basis.

The U.S. Navy has awarded seven companies $116.6M in contract modifications to continue maintaining surface combatant and amphibious ships that are visiting or stationed in San Diego. Contractors will continue to perform non-complex emergent and continuous maintenance services under option period three of a multiple-award  indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract, the Department of Defense said Friday.

The U.S. Army has awarded $5.5B in contract modifications to seven companies to provide support services for the military branch amid the national emergency declared by President Donald Trump due to the coronavirus pandemic. Lockheed Martin (NYSE: LMT) has received a three-year, $167.5M contract to supply long-range anti-ship missile systems to the U.S. Air Force.
