The U.S. Air Force Installation Contracting Center (AFICC) has awarded Vertex Aerospace one of the eight spots on the Aircraft Maintenance Enterprise Solution (ACES) contract vehicle, the company announced Thursday. The Air Force selected Amentum to provide maintenance services for all fixed-wing aircraft platforms under the 10-year, $14 billion Aircraft Maintenance Enterprise Solution (ACES) contract vehicle. Amentum was awarded a position on the new multi-award, indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity (IDIQ) contract in July. “We are excited to continue serving our Air Force customers under the ACES contract,” said Dr. Karl Spinnenweber, executive vice president and general manager of Amentum’s Mission Readiness Group.

Eight Companies Win Spots on $14B USAF Aircraft Maintenance Contract Vehicle

The U.S. Air Force has awarded eight spots on a potential 10-year, $14B contract vehicle for organizational-level aircraft maintenance services. Contractors will compete for task orders to help the branch maintain aerial vehicles except tiltrotor, rotary-wing and remotely piloted aircraft, the Department of Defense said Wednesday.
