Amentum Wins $301M Task Order to Help Maintain USAF Trainer Aircraft

Amentum has received a five-year, $301.4 million task order to help the U.S. Air Force maintain three jet trainer platforms,

The company will perform organizational- and intermediate-level maintenance support for the T-38C Talon, T-6A Texon II and T-1A Jayhawk aircraft at Vance AF Base, the Department of Defense said Wednesday.

USAF officially awarded the task order to DynCorp, which Amentum acquired in November 2020, under the $14 billion Aircraft Maintenance Enterprise Solution contract and will obligate $602,687 at the time of award.

DynCorp is among the eight awardees on the 10-year ACES procurement vehicle for aircraft maintenance services. excluding tiltrotor, rotary-wing and remotely piloted aircraft.
