BAE Systems' ship repair business in Norfolk, Va., has been awarded a potential $175.1M contract to help the U.S. Navy modernize a Ticonderoga-class guided missile cruiser. Avon Rubber Completes Buy of 3M Ballistic Protection Unit

U.K.-based military technology provider Avon Rubber has completed its acquisition of 3M's (NYSE: MMM) ballistic protection business in an approximately $116M cash deal. The transaction includes an initial payment of $91M and a contingent consideration of up to $25M.
