U.S. Special Operations Command has awarded four companies positions on a potential seven-year, $2.39 billion follow-on contract for the procurement of command, control, communication and computers and intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance-related equipment and incidental services.
According to a presolicitation notice, T-REX 3 is an indefinite-delivery-indefinite-quantity contract vehicle for the procurement of C4 and ISR equipment in four main categories: system integration; hardware and modifications; specialized communication solutions and networks; and signal processing capabilities.
In addition to the four categories, the recompete contract may address the need for continuous increased capability and new technology insertions.
The IDIQ contract has seven one-year ordering periods and will include fixed-firm-price and cost reimbursable as appropriate for the requirement.
