Parry Labs has named Scott DeVona as its chief revenue officer, tasking him with leading revenue strategy and execution as demand for open, rapid interoperability at the tactical edge continues to grow. DeVona brings 20 years of experience building defense software businesses and winning software-centric programs for U.S. combatant commands, command posts and vehicle-based command and control systems.
What Will DeVona’s Role at Parry Labs Involve?
As CRO, DeVona will drive Parry Labs’ revenue strategy and oversee execution across its customer base. His mandate comes at a moment of accelerating demand for the kind of open architecture, vendor-agnostic interoperability that Parry Labs provides — connecting legacy systems with the autonomous platforms and networks arriving in next-generation formations.
“Programs are being asked to connect the systems they have today with the autonomous systems arriving tomorrow, and to do it without being locked into any one vendor,” DeVona said. “That is the hardest problem in the room, and it is what Parry does. My focus is getting that capability into more programs, faster, so formations get more lethality out of the platforms, sensors, and networks they own now and will receive in the future.”
What Experience Does DeVona Bring to the Position?
DeVona joins Parry Labs from Research Innovations, Inc., where he led a commercial software organization that transitioned mission software into licensed products, generating recurring revenue for U.S. and allied defense customers. In that role, he held full profit and loss ownership across the product line, the engineering team that built it and the sales teams that brought it to market, while also rebuilding the organization’s forecasting and margin discipline.
Earlier in his career, DeVona began as a software engineer at Fort Monmouth, working alongside senior Army leaders who shape requirements and drive program decisions. He advanced through technical program management into business development leadership before taking on full P&L ownership.

Parry Labs CEO Don Claussen framed the appointment around DeVona’s dual fluency in program capture and product business development — a combination he said matches the company’s next phase of growth.
“Scott knows how to win programs, and he knows how to build a product business around the software that delivers them,” Claussen said. “Other companies want to be the ecosystem. We enable the ecosystem to operate as one, and that is what this next phase requires.”
What Other Leadership Changes Has Parry Labs Made Recently?
DeVona’s appointment follows a broader leadership restructuring at Parry Labs. In May 2026, the company named Don Claussen as CEO to oversee day-to-day operations, organizational alignment and execution across its sites in Virginia, Alabama, Maryland, Texas and Iowa. Claussen previously served as CEO of ST Engineering iDirect and held senior leadership roles at L3Harris Technologies, Viasat and Intelsat General Communications.
