U.S. Special Operations Command has released a draft request for proposals for a potential seven-year, $2 billion follow-on contract to provide command, control, communication and computers and intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance-related equipment and incidental services to the government.
According to a notice published Monday, comments on the draft RFP for the Targeted Requirement EXecution 3, or T-REX 3, multiple-award contract will be accepted no later than Feb. 10.
The final solicitation for the contract vehicle is expected to be released on or about March 18.
T-REX 3 Contract Scope
According to a presolicitation notice, T-REX 3 is an indefinite-delivery-indefinite-quantity contract vehicle for the procurement of C4 and ISR equipment in four main categories: system integration; hardware and modifications; specialized communication solutions and networks; and signal processing capabilities.
In addition to those four categories, the recompete contract may address the need for continuous increased capability and new technology insertions.
USSOCOM plans to launch a full and open competition for the T-REX 3 acquisition vehicle with plans to award three to six prime contracts.
In 2020, the command selected three companies for the follow-on T-REX contract, which will expire in October 2025.
