United Launch Alliance has received an $867M contract modification from the U.S. Air Force to maintain and sustain launch infrastructure for the Atlas V and Delta IV rockets that support national security space missions.
Work also covers Evolved Expendable Launch Vehicle program management, mission integration and assurance, rocket depreciation and base and range support, the Defense Departmentsaid Thursday.
DoD noted the original contract’s total cumulative face value is $9.77B.
The Boeing (NYSE: BA)-Lockheed Martin (NYSE: LMT) joint venture will perform work under the modification through Sept. 30, 2019, at a ULA facility in Colorado.
Other work locations are Vandenberg AF Base in California and Cape Canaveral AF Station in Florida.
