Peraton's Reginald Brothers Talks Expectations for Army Futures Command

TYSONS CORNER, VA, August 16, 2018 ” Reginald Brothers, executive vice president and chief technology officer of Peraton, has said the new Army Futures Command could adopt the same accelerated technology development approach as the Defense Innovation Unit as the former ramps up its mission, ExecutiveBiz reported Aug. 3.

The former Department of Homeland Security undersecretary for science and technology told Government Matters in an interview posted Aug. 1 that he also backs the selection of Austin, Texas, as headquarters for the command because of the city’s workforce, industry and research capabilities.

“What I really hope to see is for [AFC] to reach out to the Austin community and the rest of the ecosystem, take their ideas and integrate them into really good programs and capabilities,” Brothers said.
