Peraton Secures $118M Army Software Development Contract

Peraton has received a potential five-year, $118.2 million contract to design and develop software for a new U.S. Army system intended to connect military sensors, operators and weapon launchers.

The service will use the software in the Integrated Air and Missile Defense Battle Command System, also known as IBCS, the Department of Defense said Thursday.

Army Contracting Command received only one bid for the firm-fixed-price contract and expects the company to finish work by April 13, 2027.

The award comes nearly four months after Northrop Grumman (NYSE: NOC) won a $1.38 billion IBCS production contract from the branch. Under its five-year contract, Northrop will supply as many as 160 systems to the Army and its foreign partners.
