Peraton has received a 20-month other transaction agreement to develop, engineer and integrate a satellite ground terminal system to support the U.S. Army™s tactical space defense mission.
The company said Tuesday it will be the prime contractor for research and development of the station prototype designed to work with military satellites in low-Earth orbit.
Stan Kekauoha, vice president for national security space at Peraton, said the contract builds on the company™s experience providing cyber, communications, intelligence, electronic warfare and space technology platforms to the U.S. military and intelligence community.
