DiNoto will support corporate strategy development and coordinate Ignite’s business relations with defense, civilian and intelligence community customers, the professional services company said Monday.
He previously was director of national security strategies at Intrepid, an Alabama-based small business that offers engineering and support services to the federal sector.
An Empire State University graduate, DiNoto held a more-than-two-decade career in the public sector where his last assignment was chief security officer at U.S. Army Space and Missile Defense Command, where he led a global security enterprise covering 23 locations worldwide.
His government career also included stints as director of intelligence and security for the Army’s Cruise Missile Defense Systems Project Office, chief of the international security branch for SMDC and chief of foreign disclosure and technology protection branch for Army Special Operations Command.
He worked at the New York State Department of Taxation and Finance as supervising criminal investigator.
