The company said Thursday Tierney will step down as president of Janes U.S. business to pursue an external opportunity. Nixon will serve in a dual capacity while Janes conducts a search for a permanent successor.
Janes CEO Blake Bartlett expressed confidence in Nixon’s leadership during the transition.
“As former Director of the CIA’s Open Source Enterprise and now our Chief Customer Officer, he brings unmatched mission expertise and a strong commitment to serving our defense and national security customers,” Bartlett said of Nixon.
