Lockheed Martin (NYSE: LMT) has received a potential seven-year, $395 million contract to provide support services to a Department of Homeland Security-managed facility that monitors cyber threats across DHS information systems.
Lockheed will help DHS run its Security Operations Center under the indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract, the department said in a FedBizOpps notice published Wednesday.
DHS made the award five months after it solicited proposals for the SOC support services IDIQ contract.
The contract contains a one-year base term and six option years and covers six functional areas that include program management and control, cybersecurity communications and coordination, operations services, service delivery management, acquisition support, as well as architecture, engineering, operations and maintenance.
The contract also includes core services such as network monitoring, vulnerability assessment, cyber intelligence analysis, intrusion analysis, task order management and computer security incident response.
