CyberCore Technologies has appointed Knute Olson as chief executive officer.
The Elkridge, Maryland-based company told GovCon Wire on Tuesday that Olson succeeds interim CEO Astrid Pages, who will return to her role as chief financial officer following the leadership transition to continue overseeing financial strategy and growth initiatives.
Olson’s appointment took effect on May 18.
Who Is Knute Olson?
Olson brings more than four decades of leadership experience, including over 30 years supporting federal and intelligence community missions.
Before joining CyberCore, he served as vice president of CACI International and manager of the company’s systems engineering and technical assistance division, a position he assumed in November 2023. Prior to CACI, he was executive director of program operations at ManTech.
Earlier in his career, Olson served as executive vice president within AT&T‘s public sector defense and national security business, where he oversaw a profit-and-loss organization generating more than $335 million in annual revenue and helped secure contract awards valued at more than $3 billion. He also led a workforce of more than 700 technology and business professionals.
What Did CyberCore Say About the Appointment?
A CyberCore spokesperson described Olson as a “respected leader across the GovCon community, with deep relationships and a track record of delivering mission impact for federal customers.”
“His leadership will be instrumental as CyberCore strengthens its position supporting critical government priorities while accelerating disciplined, profitable growth,” the spokesperson added.
Olson said he looks forward to expanding customer relationships, scaling operations and advancing capabilities that support intelligence community and federal agency missions.
