Boeing (NYSE: BA) has received a three-year, $109.1M order under a U.S. Navy basic ordering agreement to provide aircrew training systems for New Zealand's P-8A maritime patrol and reconnaissance aircraft.
The order is for a Poseidon operational flight trainer, three 10-seat electronic classrooms, a maintenance support cabinet, a scenario generation terminal, a virtual maintenance trainer and a training system support center, the Department of Defense said Friday.
DoD added the company will install, test and inspect the systems as well as provide associated books, publications and software tools.
Work under the delivery order is scheduled to conclude in January 2024 and will occur at various locations in California, Florida, Missouri, New York, Washington and New Zealand.
