He retired from the U.S. Navy last year after 31 years of service and was program manager for the service branch's Littoral Combat Ship Mission Module before his retirement, McKean Defense said Tuesday.
Zobel also previously managed Surface Ship Modernization and Lifecycle and Surface Combatant Modernization and Lifecycle programs at the branch.
"Ted's NAVSEA assignments will provide us additional insight into the arising mission needs of NAVSEA," said Michael Denny, chief strategy and growth officer at McKean Defense.
