RTX (NYSE: RTX) has secured a $96.3 million contract modification from the U.S. Navy to design and engineer a sensor network with situational awareness and integrated fire control capability for domestic and international military customers.
The modification covers design agent and engineering support and exercises options for other direct costs for the Navy’s Cooperative Engagement Capability program, the Department of Defense said Friday.
Using customers are the Navy and the governments of Australia, Japan and Canada.
Seventy percent of work will occur in St. Petersburg, Florida, and the remaining 30 percent in Largo, Florida, through May 2024.
