Mercer Secures $93M Air Force Engineering Support IDIQ

Mercer Engineering Research Center has secured a potential five-year, $93M contract from the U.S. Air Force to provide essential engineering services to Robins AF Base in Georgia.

The nonprofit will help the service branch engineer mechanical, structural, electrical, electronics, aircraft and software assets at the installation, the Department of Defense said Wednesday.

DoD noted the period of performance commenced on Feb. 1 and will continue through Jan. 31, 2025.

The Air Force Sustainment Center's Robins Enterprise Contracting office is obligating $1.2M at the time of award.

Georgia-based MERC provides scientific research engineering services to the defense, energy, transportation and information technology sectors.
