Lockheed Receives $102M Army Sensor Hardware Supply Contract

Lockheed Martin (NYSE: LMT) has received a $102.4 million contract from the U.S. Army to produce components and spares of the Apache attack helicopter’s updated sensor system.

The military service is procuring the hardware items for the Modernized Target Acquisition Designation/Pilot Night Vision Sensor System from the company’s missiles and fire control business, the Department of Defense said Tuesday.

M-TADS/PNVS features electro-optical sensors designed to increase Apache pilots’ situational awareness when they perform missions in daytime, nighttime or extreme weather scenarios.

Army Contracting Command received one bid for the firm-fixed-price contract and expects the company to finish work by July 31, 2024.
