Julie Holdren
Julie Holdren has joined KoolSpan as its new chief operating officer and vice president of products.
The 25-year veteran is tasked to lead the company’s operations and manage its subscription-based end-to-end mobile encrypted calling and text messaging offer called TrustCall Global Service, KoolSpan said Monday.
“The proliferation of cyber attacks on mobile devices and widespread eavesdropping, surveillance and corporate espionage campaigns have accelerated the need for secure mobile calling and text messaging solutions, ” said KoolSpan CEO Nigel Jones.
Jones added that Holdren joins the company at a time when her operational expertise and management skills will be utilized as KoolSpan aims to expand its secure mobile communications services.
Prior to KoolSpan, Holdren held executive-level and product management positions including as CEO for the startup companies OGI, Twin-Soft and Olympus Group and as the executive VP of collaboration security products at Fixmo.
She has received awards such as George Mason Universitys Alumnus of the Year and the Outstanding Engineering Entrepreneurial award from the university’s school of engineering.
Holdren also served on the White House Millennium Council and boards of directors of the Girl Scouts of the Nations Capital, the Chamber of Commerce in Alexandria, Virginia, and the Greater Washington Board of Trade.
